Great Spark and it make my heart smile. Love David Please keep this anonymous. A few months ago, i stopped at a local Quik Trip location in Wichita Kansas. It is in a bit of a rough neighborhood, but I had to stop to fuel up! I went inside, just intending to pay for my fuel bill, when i decided to purchase a lottery ticket. I completed my purchase, went back to my car and saw a homeless man there, with all of his prized possessions, his bike, etc. I felt so horrible. Here I am, basically throwing money out of the window on a lottery ticket, and here he is. I never ever carry cash, but on this particular day, i scoured my purse, a compartment in my car and found 9 dollars. I gathered it up, took a deep breath, (yes, i admit, i was a bit afraid) and got out of my car, approached the man, as a woman was walking out of Quik Trip. He would not make eye contact with me until I spoke to him in a louder voice, saying Hi sir! He looked up at me with the saddest eyes I have seen in a while. I said, this is for you! He said, NO, really? I said yep. Have a great day. The woman that was walking out to her car at the same time, had already gotten into her car, got back out and started clapping and saying, God Bless you maam. I nodded to her, smiled and got back into my car. BEST. FEELING. EVER. I will never forget his smile, nor the beautiful woman that acknowledged what i did. Pay it forward my friends...
