Great Spark that made my heart smile. Love David I was driving a friend home last night and noticed a man lying on a bench. Before you scoff, that is NOT a common sight where I live. Its getting colder in my area of the country already. Its about 35 degrees Fahrenheit in the dead of night, and not exactly shirt sleeve weather. I saw the man again in my way home, huddled up and shivering as he tried to sleep in the puddle of light cast by the street light. I only live a few blocks away from his impromptu resting place. I thought to myself Id sure hate to be him. Its cold out and that blanket was pretty thin. Being a female, alone, well... I didnt feel comfortable offering him a ride to the shelter; I couldnt just let him try to shiver himself warm, either. My solution was to take him one of my -20 rated sleeping bags. I told him that he should pass the random spark of kindness to someone else in need, and that hopefully, he would sleep warmly. I do hope I was able to make a difference.
