Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, with humbled hearts we gather together to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the flowing waters from the mountaintop as it slowly makes its way to the valley below. We thank you for the the mighty Eagle as it soars overhead. We thank you for Brother Bear as he fishes for his food in the early morning hour, while his mate watches over the young. We thank you for the song of the mourning dove as she perches upon the branch. We thank you for the ants as they show us the importance of working together to get the task done. We thank you for the pollination of the bee. For the grace of the ocean waves as it rushes to the shoreline; the cool morning breeze as it flows through the grasslands; and the wisps of snow as it blows over the mountain ridges, we thank you. We ask for mercy and forgiveness for those that are addicted to materialism, power, wealth and those things that are harmful to our physical being. We ask for an end to the wanton desire for nuclear power, for it generates more harm to your creation than to our want for its energy. We ask for an end to the division that separates the four colors. We ask instead for a time of unity so we may begin to repair the damage we have done to your creation. We ask for an end to the abuse and killing of the defenseless animals that surround us. We ask for veils of secrecy to finally open so that your light may penetrate the darkness of deceit. We ask for all, like our Brother Leonard Peltier, who have been incarcerated unjustly, to be granted freedom to return to their land and families. We ask for an end to domestic violence and abuse being perpetrated against our women and children. We ask for protection and freedom for those of our children that have been abducted. We ask for great healing for those that are suffering through diverse diseases and disorders. We ask for your guidance and strength as we stand against those that continue to bring destruction upon your creation. For those that have lost loved ones recently, we ask for your comfort toward the family and friends. We ask for guidance, strength and courage for those that are now on their walk. We thank you for our Elders that continue to bring us the lessons of the present as well as the wisdom of the past. We thank you for our children that will one day understand all they have been given and pass them onto the next generation. We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing. We thank you for the air we breathe and the waters that hydrate our bodies. We thank you for the awakening of spirits that are now forming as Rainbow Warriors throughout Mother Earth to bring back balance. We thank you for the precious gift of all life. Emenv
