Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, with humbled hearts we gather together to offer up many thanks. There are many times when much is taken for granted and we thank you for the time given where we can pause and take notice of these. We thank you for the rains that come to bring growth and rejuvenation. For the seeds planted in the Spring season that soon open themselves up and begin the life of the plant, we thank you. We thank you for the caterpillar that soon shows its beauty as a butterfly, reminding us that no matter how we live our lives we have the ability to change and become something miraculous. We thank you for the organization of the ant that shows us that all things are possible when we unite and work together. For the eagle that shows its strength and wisdom as it soars above the storms of life, we thank you. We thank you for the music found in the winds and the rushing waters when we take the time to truly listen. We thank you for the mists that float from the mountaintops to the valley below, bringing moisture to the soil. We thank you for the trees that give us the air to breathe and the wisdom of the ancients. We thank you for the spirit found in our hearts and the knowledge of just how complex it really is. We thank you for the Universe that surrounds us and the many galaxies, stars and planets that hold the knowledge and spirit of all things. We thank you for the sacredness of the ground we tread upon as it holds the blood of our ancestors and the history of all things. We thank you for the Sacred Circle that can be found from the vast expanse of the Universe to the very core of Mother Earth. We thank you for our Elders and the wisdom of the ancestors and the lessons of the present. We thank you for our children that will soon build upon the foundation we have set before them. We thank you for all two-leggeds, four-leggeds, swimmers, fliers and crawlers and their natural habitats. We thank you for the precious gift of life and the many trials we endure in order to strengthen our spirit. Emenv
