The program is called Summer in Cyprus: Pre-Med https://globalsemesters/programs/cyprus/summer-in-cyprus-pre-med This summer program is a five-week academic program in Anatomy and Clinical Skills and Management of Care based in Nicosia, Cyprus and hosted by the University of Nicosia Global Semesters, in partnership with the University of Nicosia St. Georges University of London Medical School. This is an excellent opportunity for pre-medical students to study at with the faculty at the medical school at the University of Nicosia. Students will study anatomy in the cadaver lab; they will study clinical skills in the patient simulation labs with patient actors; and will study comparative management of healthcare with site visits to public and private hospitals, rural and urban healthcare centers, to learn the difference between U.S. and European healthcare systems. Students will earn 7 credits.
