Great Testimony on Celiac and MS My Journey with MS and Plexus Slim by Bonnie Paul August 11, 2013 at 2:22am I have MS and I love how Plexus has helped me. I was diagnosed in 1990 with Relapsing-Remitting MS. I also have Celiac Disease so am absolutely gluten-free. I take Rebif injections and until about the end of June also took up to 250 mg of Nuvigil (a prescription medicine similar to Provigil) as needed almost daily to fight my extreme fatigue. I also have suffered from MS neuralgia, a severe stabbing, burning pain that shoots from my right ear over the top of my head. It is so sudden that it will almost knock me down, and then is gone in an instant. Since the pain I experience is so brief, and often not does reoccur for a while, I chose not to take normally prescribed medication for this pain, which is usually Tegretol or other anticonvulsants. I began taking Plexus Slim products about May 1, 2013. I started taking the Plexus Slim pink drink, once daily and the Accelerator, usually once daily, and at times, a second capsule after lunch if I felt I needed a boost of energy. However, I ran out of the Plexus Slim drink during the first month and was out for maybe 10 days. I still was taking the Accelerator. I felt so much worse during those 10 days, that I knew that Plexus Slim was really helping me. I started taking the Fast Relief Nerve Health Support capsules and the Bio-Cleanse along with the Plexus Slim drink and Accelerator on June 1, 2013. I took the maximum dose for about the first bottle of the Nerve Health capsules, and then I cut back to one morning and night. I took 2 Bio-Cleanse in the morning. Later I increased the Bio-Cleanse to 3 capsules in the morning and one at night. On June 24, 2013, I also started taking the Fast Relief capsules (for pain relief). I took the maximum dose, and then also cut back later to one in the morning and night. I began taking the ProBio5 on July 8. I take 4 capsules in the evening and 2 capsules in the morning. I noticed about the end of June that I couldn’t remember when I had taken Nuvigil last! I know I did the middle of June since I had an 8 hour drive and I remember taking them. So, the increase of energy had come on so gradually that I must have slowly cut down on the frequency of the energy medicine without realizing it! I have not needed to use the Nuvigil again now for over 6 weeks, except for 4 days, when I attempted to take the X-Factor. This product is very high in some of the Vitamin B’s and I cannot take much of some of the Vitamin B’s with my MS or I get extreme fatigue. I wanted to try each of the products, and the first day I took the X-Factor, I had to have a little of the Nuvigil in the evening. The next day it was worse and I was up to the full dose of the Nuvigil after 4 days on the X-Factor. The following day after I quit the X-Factor, my energy was back and I have not needed to use the medicine again! The Nuvigil prescription would have cost me every 3 months: $973.33 without insurance and with my insurance still cost me $260.00. If you multiply that times 4 for the prescription for one year then the cost would be: $3,893.32 without insurance and with my insurance still would cost me $1,040. That is a huge savings not having to use just this one prescription for energy! Please note that this medicine really does work well, but it is only for my MS fatigue. It does not claim to cure anything, just give needed energy and is a controlled substance. Now, I have even more energy with Plexus Slim products and the confusion that the Nuvigil gave me is gone. I also realized in about the middle of July, that I cannot remember when I have had any pain from my neuralgia! I have no idea when it went away! I do know that from mid-July onward I have not had any, absolutely no neuralgia pain! If you only knew how severe this pain was, then you will see why it brings me to tears to realize that I have had none! Whether this comes back or not, we will see. I have no idea if the Fast Relief Nerve Health Support capsules, the Fast Relief Capsules (for pain relief) or a combination of all of the above has stopped this pain. But, so far, it is gone! I hope it stays away! I have also lost about 13 pounds using the Plexus Slim products. I am .2 pounds over what the charts say I should weigh!
