Great Video, tremendous crowd enthusiasm, but still, what would one find on the radio, in a record club, or record store in the summer of 1965? Quite truthfully, not much of anything good, particularly from American and Canadian rock bands at the time. The British Invasion had long started and it appeared the Beatles would always be leaders in record sales, concert sell-outs which the Beatles ended the following year and the radio #1 hits top 30 and top 40 charts. Two of them have passed now but they leave behind their legacy. I cant think of an American or Canadian or even British band that ever meant as much to people in general. They were modern pioneers and developers of Rock and Roll. And in my view blew away the earlier era of Rock and Roll.
