Great..........! You heard about God, you heard the gospel, now you believe, but....... WAIT THERES MORE! Israels redemptive History began with a command Come and follow (Gen. 12:1), Abraham believed and obeyed. Then God made Himself known more intimately giving them His name(Exodus 3:14). Followed by the giving of His commandments in Exodus 20 teaching Israel His righteous standard, and how to relate to Him and others. Then God steps into time and space manifests Himself in human form, and Israel beheld Him face to face (veiled by His humanity)and lived (Ex. 3:20, Romans 8:3). Jesus came alongside humanity to make Himself known and make it possible for us to know God. Wait theres more! Gods revelation of Himself continued to increase as Jesus said that a helper would come (John14:6,John 16:7). Gods relationship with man is ever increasing. You know God, you know the Gospel, you believe, but the relationship does not stop there. Do you know that God wants to reveal Himself even more to you. Do you know God the Holy Spirit? 1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.
