Great and full day at Air Venture yesterday with long-time friend Jeff Simek and his lovely wife, Jack. She is the airplane nut in the family but Jeff spent an inordinate amount of time looking at light sport aircraft with that, Ya Know, this could happen sort of look in his eye. Saw both the day and night air shows and visited tons of displays. First time here for both of them...sent them off to bed last night with airplane overload. Great to see em and share this experience with them. The pic is the wall of fire shot at the end of the day air show. Trash bags filled with gasoline atop primer cord and a short stick of dynamite. You could feel the heat 500-feet away. They shot an even bigger one during the night show.
