Great article from my friend Senge Sering: This game is as old - TopicsExpress

Great article from my friend Senge Sering: This game is as old as Rudyard Kipling. The Pakistanis, through rapacious misrule, have managed to totally piss off the people in Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad is about to come crying to Washington for more lawyers, guns, and money to fight the new baddies, (bought and paid for by the Saudis). They created a situation that absolutely invited ISIS into this area and it may be just a matter of time before this happens in Balochistan, too. Now there will be baddies peeing in the river upstream of the poor Pakistanis in Islamabad. Oooh, by Gosh! It’s classic. It’s pure “The Man Who Would Be King”. And Mrs. Clinton and her hormonal support group will come in and sing: “look, we have to help these people or the baddies from ISIS or the Taliban or Al Qaeda will take over”. BTW, it’s called a setup. It’s a situation that was deliberately created to get to this point. It’s been going on for a long time and the person who spearheaded these actions is now suspected of being a Pakistani spy. There is a freedom movement in Gilgit-Baltistan that came to the US looking for help. They’ve been around for a while. They have genuine grievances with the leadership of Pakistan. They came here first looking for support. They were ignored, as we knew they would be. Instead, our diplomats have been spending their time whitewashing and covering for Pakistani sponsors of terrorists who do their killing in India. That has been going on for years. America ignores freedom movements and waits until they pick up the Islamic option and then goes for the counterinsurgent formula instead. We do that every time. Yet, we have learned that does not work so well. We practically invented asymmetric warfare in Afghanistan and turned our backs on it because not enough people made money, not enough generals earned promotions, and not enough corporate bastards could steal from the smoking ruins. But we are prepared to let Pakistan do that for us. Remember, Robin Raphel tells us to “invest” in Pakistan. The focus of her latest “investment” scheme is smack in the middle of all of this. What do you think that means? But the freedom fighter option remains and we know that ISIS and Talibanis and Al Qaeda are all too happy to pick it up. That leaves us with the Islamic kleptofascists of Pakistan for friends and the likes of Robin Raphel to show us the way. Watch out. That bat is coming back and like Capt. Ahab, she will point a way before her final plunge to Hades. By the time that happens, they will have destroyed every other option for America. That has been the plan from day one. Supporting freedom movements has become a bad thing with leftists. At one time, they were all about that. No more. They are now too cynical and greedy to even qualify to be in the same room with people who give a damn. It’s all about power, greed, patronage and preachy moral high grounds rooted in women’s rights which they betray with every dollar they give to the Islamic Kleptocracy of Pakistan. Sounds like a good reason to send the Marines! But a few moves back, a quiet little Iskra could have lit a fire and detonated a revolutionary bomb with our name on it that would deliver that dirty, dirty word: “freedom”. Average Americans desperately want to screw Pakistan back and we will not until we fully embrace, that dirty word, “freedom” again. It surely will not come from so-called liberals. It can only come from conservatives and the likelihood of that happening is extremely small. It’s about as small as the subjunctive mood and wish in the voice of my friend Senge’s last sentence: “Given increased linkages occurring among terror networks, so too must India, China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan set aside chronic territorial disputes and engage in greater collaboration based on common interests and threats.” Good effin’ luck! Timing is everything. Waiting for complex global choices to be distilled down to a a menu of two options is also called “too late”. The bad news is that it means making wise and moral decisions when things aren’t hot and when there are no TV cameras to perform in front of. But that is continually what we are presented with, foreign policy distilled down to binary decisions covered in posturing and wrapped in theatrics. So let me present you, dear reader, with a contradiction. The Islamic Looney Tunes of ISIS have struck at Paris first even though they identify Washington and London as greater enemies. Why? Is it because they know the leadership in Washington and London are stunning idiots who could not even outrun so much as their own appetites? Could it be that they like these people to remain in power because they are such lame adversaries? Hint: I’m pretty sure they will continue to hit innocent civilians and low level soldiers and never even try to land a glove on any Western leaders. Anybody want to make a bet?
