Great conversation with my sons! Dad my principal said to me, your Dad use 2b one the toughest bball players in the entire State of MI. He was Street smith top 100 high school basket ball players in America! My oldest said Dad you was alright while laughing. Amere Jr asked me did you really dunk on a 76 guy at the Harlem Globetrotters Camp at Disney World, I said yes I did.. Dont believe it just ask Craig Johnson. Lol speaking to my posterity made me feel old while reflecting on my game. They asked me how did you feel when Chris Webber said you was one of the best players he ever played against; I told them, the truth was comforting! lol I am blessed & was good enough to play at a level that has opened a door for my sons; now all they have to do is walk in it!! 20yrs later, my records have yet to be broken. 20yrs later no1 team is talked about like the class of 1992! I informed my sons that my basketball career has taken me many places and introduced me to many ppl. I said I enjoyed it while it last. I told them only what you do for Christ will last. Whatever youre doing in life take advantage of it while you can. Stay on top of your game. Play it until you cant play it no more. Be the best you can be because things will change. The things you use to do on yesterday, you may not be able to do them on tomorrow. Enjoy what you love doing while you can!!
