Great day today!! Last official day of the retreat, tomorrow we pack out of Yelapa. My job is officially done here. What a transformative experience. Met some really cool people, went deep into the energy of yoga...talked some deep conversations...I really enjoyed my time for sure. Yelapa embraced us with kindness for sure!! Everyone we met was really good to us. Made some awesome connections that will serve me well. Today I got to spend some quality time with Val (my retreat twinsie). When we met in PV our first night We both bought one single white feather earring from a street vendor and that that kinda made us Spiritual sistahs!! Stuck all week. I feel blessed. She is very cool. She pulled her son out of school to travel the world while home schooling him. The school of life. He is so intelligent and cool! While they were in Hawaii they learned to surf and he got a ukulele. I instantly knew we would connect. After I leave here and meet up with Michael!!! We will head to Sayulita to hang with her tribe. So stoked. Will trade personal cooking for lodging. Works for me!!! She has taught me this week how important it is to stick with your intuition and do what is best for you, not what the world around you expects. She is living proof of this, and has inspired me in many, many ways. The woman in the middle picture is a vendor who makes really nice jewelry. And I love her fashion sense! I bought my big turquoise rock necklace from her two years ago. People ALWAYS compliment me on them, and I wear it as can amulet when I need to speak my truth. Bet nobody knew that ha! So I had to go and support her business again...of course! Jewelry is my weakness!! Well...tomorrow is a new day. I want to soak up all the time I can with my new friends before we all split ways. Great experience. My boyfriend gets here tomorrow for a new adventure. Got to wash my hair and look pretty when I meet him thats for sure!!!
