Great day with wifey at the doctors. Unbandaged the wounds which looked really good - - healing fine. Cleaned it all up and allowed short periods of sling removal, and instructed to do gripping to reduce swelling in the hand. GOOD THING she had this done now. The spurs were grinding bone away. Over to the physical therapist. Great guy, Wally, got far more specific on what to do. She is allowed to crochet if the arms rest in her lap. NO tension in the muscles above the elbow. Her comfortable range of motion sans pain is better than expected. She is off the oxy which was most likely encouraging the nausea. She even warfed down a GIANT 6 inch Subway for lunch. Regular PT sessions scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday. In the meantime, Wally issued her some of the yellow squeezing clay - - - felt stiffer than I expected.
