Great experience for my daughters. Booked online with dawn Dives before we went to Playa Blanca, and the booking process was very simple. The diving tuition takes place at the H10 Rubicon Palace hotel and the beach in front. We were offered a pick up service, which included us parents also. The only downer for our experience was that when their mini-bus did arrive, there wasnt enough room for all 5 of us, nor even our 3 kids. Fortunately we had a hire car, so we utilised this. Back to the diving, the setup at the hotel was very professional, and the girls really picked it up quite quickly and were indeed in the sea in just over an hour of getting into the swimming pool. The beach they use for the sea diving is a little bit slippy for entering the water, but you can see by the number of snorkelers that it is the ideal place. When the girls came back out, they said that the experience underwater was amazing, with fish everywhere. The dived to a depth of 7meters, and were very comfortable with that depth. They enjoyed it so much that we booked for another dive a few days later, and because they are now known by Dawn Dives, they went straight into the sea. This time they dived to a depth of 12 metres. The owners and the staff all seem very professional, save for the minibus pickup issue, but that wasnt a showstopper. If we happen to go back to Playa Blanca next year, my daughters have already informed me that a diving session will have to be booked!! Cant say fairer than that. [Tripadvisor, August, 2014]
