Great fun today with my colleague Matthew Ridenhour as we took our first Matt and Pats Walkabout uptown. We saw some Firefighters training and we asked if they would teach us how to break a door down! We were so proud to also hear FireFighters say they were honoring 911 deaths this weekend by sharpening their skills especially in tall buildings. So Saturday 400 firefighters wearing full gear will climb the steps of the 110 floors at the Duke Energy Building owned by Wells Fargo. Bravo! Stay safe Firefighters. Thank you for your service.
