Great info! A New Canadian Study published in a major Journal in April, 2013 found that Integrative Medicine principles applied clinically reduced cardiovascular Risk in patients. The patients in the group who received Contemporary or Integrative medical care vs conventional treatment had reduced cardiovascular risks and favorable outcomes in the study. Elaborating on such studies would limit costs of conventional care. Or, put differently, it would make integrative medicine as provided in the naturopathic medical care model the basis of treatment. Such studies could prove very useful might give us the kind of real-world, cost-saving guidance that health care needs for the treatment of those with cardiovascular and other expensive chronic conditions. cmaj.ca/content/early/2013/04/29/cmaj.130614
