Great iniative by the Weavers We witnessed a true example of the meaning of Christmas, on December 8th. Mike Weaver and his wife Rhianna wanted to create an extraordinary moment for a dozen youth, who are facing great life challenges. The Weavers spoke with their friends at JACK & JONES to arrange a private shopping session with stylists in one of their stores in Montreal. Mike Weaver also asked some of his friends to give him a helping hand. Unfortunately, because of his concussion, Mike had to cancel, but Rhianna was there to welcome David Desharnais, Brendan Gallagher, Eric Tangradi, Dustin Tokarski and Dale Weise. Kids, with their eyes lit up and smiles from ear to ear, spent two hours shopping and eating with the five players. A huge thank you to JACK & JONES who graciously offered food and a new wardrobe, from shoes to winter coats and suits, to each young one.-La Fondation des Canadiens pour lenfance
