Great meal for kids. Ive been a bit amiss sharing recipes of late, things have been quite hectic to say the least! But I need to share this one from tonight! It was one of those dishes that just got created along the way, but it was simple, it was easy, it was quick, it was chocked full nutritious ingredients. But best of all was the repetitive and resounding Yum!s from the HL kids and requests to make sure I keep making this dish, that topped it all off. *Healthee Living Mince & Kale Pasta* Sauteed chopped garlic & onion. Added chopped long green peppers, fresh tomato & chopped fresh kale leaves. Added beef mince, sprinkle of Herbamare (sea salt & herbs combination), Vital Veggie Powder (from Nutra Organics), Tamari, organic tomato sauce (I had no more homemade tomato sauce or tomato paste left), splash of organic wine & filtered water. Simmered until cooked and liquid had reduced. Added cooked GF penne pasta to the mix and stirred through. With the heat turned off and slightly cooled, I drizzled some flaxseed oil and a generous amount of organic hemp protein powder and combined through completely. Not one bit of detection from ferret nosed Miss 8... win win. The scraped bare cooking pot for proof! Oh and I had mine on top of the cabbage I was craving.
