Great moment before tonights game. A Detroit teenager had his KD shoes stolen off his feet last month as he walked home from school in the snow. These were shoes he cherished, having saved up months of lawn-mowing money to buy them. Kevin Durant heard about 13-year-old Anthony Cupps story and met him before the game to surprise him with a whole backpack full of KD gear, including signed shoes. Anthony: It proves that even when things go bad, good things can happen. Kevin: That’s the biggest thing I wanted to show. I’m just like you. I go through things just like you.
