Great news Dr. Platelet came through with a good match to attempt another transfusion and it worked. It must have been a perfect match because my nurse woke me to tell me its now 38!! The lowest they let you go is 10 and normally I get a bump to 12 or 13 but the concern was after the last one I dropped to 6 and it was dangerous! I did get hives during the transfusion so we were worried but praise GOD it worked. This week has been so rough. Cesar is normally here almost every night but between work commitments and going to the Redskins training camp and then seeing Gabriel in Atlanta this weekend it will be 7 days Im alone here. We want him to see Gabriel so Gabriel knows we are coming back and to help him though this but it just fell on a hard week. Thankfully God has sent me angels throughout this journey and they keep me strong from everyone who calls, texts, does FaceTime with me or stops in. It means so much. Tomorrow our new neighbors (now friends )are coming and Sunday Miranda will visit. Right now I cant sleep. I miss Gabriel so much Im ready to unplug my IV and walk out but I know I need to be here. It takes an emotional toll when every night I cry myself to sleep or dont sleep at all. Cesar tried to FaceTime with me tonight when he landed and he seemed confused or just didnt what to talk to me. I have about 3 more weeks if I get through this phase without an infection. It cant come soon enough. Dont forget to #ArmorUp For whatever battle you may face. Xo Loriana
