Great news! Spent the day with Larry yesterday and talk about an improvement from Saturday! He’s been in CCU since the Friday the 14th; this last Saturday, his wife told us that on Friday---the 20th---he had shown great signs of improvement. For Corinne and I, he had shown favorable signs of improvement from last Sunday, the 16th. Well, yesterday the improvement was in leaps and bounds! He was far more alert; pissing on his own; he’s completely off the ventilator and all other breathing apparatus; and seems to becoming his own ornery self! Yippieeeee! Gawd, he scared the shit out of me! And I told him that, too!!!! The little fart! Anyway, I spent the day with him and Margaret and their children. My sister was there and her daughter. Ooooold childhood friends from Glendora, Mike Villanueva (see picture of us on porch) was there with his wife. More people from Marguerite’s church were there, also. Gosh, it was so great to talk with him, and to have him back with us. Out of respect for family members I will censor what I’d like to say and report. But I’ll just sum it up with “Yes!!!!” In regards to our little 80+ pound dog, Argos, we should be getting his blood work results back today. The water pills and antibiotics seem to be working. He still occasionally coughs and gags. My heart aches for the little fella. I love him so much. And I kiss him all the time. As for you all. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate your prayers and support. There is NO DOUBT IN MY MIND that your thoughts and prayers twisted the arm of God! : ) Bless you all and thank you oh so very mucho!!!!
