Great news! The little dog in the Lisburn pound has got a home. We have taken down the post as the staff at the pound have been receiving so many vile,abusive phone calls. It is a horrible reality that there are so many unwanted animals and we see it everyday. The problem is added to by some irresponsible owners who do not spay and neuter their pets and breed animals that have nowhere to go..they are simply discarded. The answer is not to hurl abuse at those who are caring for these animals in the hope that someone will take action and step up to offer a home. Please support your local animal welfare charities and Lost and Found Pets Co.Antrim whose volunteers work tirelessly to help the abandoned and abused animals in N.I.
