Great news about our students...this will be featured in the Moon Valley Tattler... Talent Blooms in April and May Montessori Day Public Schools Chartered lauds two of its elementary students whose visual art is being featured this month by the Phoenix Symphony and at Young Arts Arizona (First Friday, 2009 N. 7th St, 5-7 pm). Another student will perform in Dance in Motion at the Orpheum, which all students will enjoy on May 9th. Furthering their hands-on science work and project skills, Middle School and Senior Elementary students will head to MDS’ mountain river valley site in New Mexico to further greenhouse construction, hike, star-track, and enjoy camping in the clear air and quiet – a welcome break after AIMS testing, which all hope will earn the school another “A grade” from the Department of Education. Not to be forgotten are the African drum, brass and instrument students, who will follow their award-winning Phoenix Light Parade performance with more music at the school’s Spring Fling on May 3rd.
