Great news from the halls of Congress! Senators Patty Murray (D-Washington) and Mark Udall (D-Colorado) have introduced legislation that would prohibit employers from discriminating against female employees by denying coverage of a specific healthcare item or service, a direct attack against the Supreme Court decision that was handed down in the Hobby Lobby Case last week. Representatives Lousie Slaughter, Dianna DeGette and Jerold Nadler, all from New York, will be introducing the same version of the bill in the House. Finally, some of our members of Congress are standing up for whats right for women! #checksandbalances
