Great news today! After years of waiting, we finally have Zoe scheduled for her jaw surgery! She will get it done on November 14th!!! Three months before we hope to leave on Valentines Day! Stopped by the Chapel for a prayer with Chaplain Hale! I dont always want to hang out with another Chaplain or pastor, but there are times when you just want to offer Thanks! He was there for us and had prayer with us!! We are good to go!!! Went through paperwork today. BOL is still down. Luckily we printed those orders out! NSIPS looks to be messed up as well. I had gone in to fill in my PCS travel stuff after my separation orders came out, but now it doesnt look like anything is there. We are going to have to fix that, and it looks like it will be painful. From this point everything speeds up! Still, over seven years we got our girls into good schools, got them surgeries they needed, eliminated debt, put money into savings, enabled them to go to college with very little debt due to the GI Bill, and spent the entire time overseas! It is hard to be bitter about the decisions of the Navy, because I have squeezed every bit out of the experience as I have been able!! YES!!!
