Great news today...Hopes appointment with Dr. Boyle was fantastic! He is very impressed with how well she is doing and with the food she is eating and how well her left side is working. He actually used the word fantastic. We also got to say goodbye to Dr. Lorber as he heads to San Antonio on the next step in his career. He is definitely going to be missed by many in Cleveland. Dr. Stewart stopped by and said HI and told me he knew she would be back to her spunky self and he gives her another 6 months and we will never be able to tell she had any problems. I totally love the doctors at the Clinic. Many of them stopped to say HI and tell Hope and I how good she looked. The only downside about transport from rehab is that I cant spend time visiting. I really wanted to stop and see LaVonne Shumar Dougherty and Micah, but that will have to wait until I can get there without transport. Hope doesnt go back for two weeks and then two weeks after that is her next biopsy. I am thinking we will be heading home shortly after the next biopsy. Thank you to everyone that has been following along our journey and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. I had a moment this week when they were doing a drill at rehab. They didnt tell me ahead of time and Hope was in therapy. They called a Code Pink throughout the building. My heart dropped and panic ensued. It brought back some very painful memories and sights and sounds from the day when they called a Code Pink on Hope. Now for some awesome pictures. Hope picked out the colors for her casts (they are detachable). One is pink and one is purple. I also have a picture of the sweet blanket and book she received from Lilahroohs but she was not being smiley, so I will have to capture a better picture. She loves her blanket and now takes it with her everywhere (along with the one she has had for years that looks like it has been through the washer 100 times). Gods Got This!!!
