Great night Thursday...all the usual stalwarts were in attendance and we had a very welcome surprise visit from our good mates Campfire 2...great set from these very accomplished Americana specialists and we hope theyll be seen at the club regularly from now on! Talking of Americana, our own club practitioners, Gary & Becky gave us some great toons....(Gary even had an encore in the second half!) Also a nice surprise visit from Lil Steve...in fine voice! Great to see him back in the fold... Trev, Ray, Pete, Armed & Dangerous Andy, Traingerous Andy, Ruth, Rich & Bri all contributed to what has become a trademark good time had by all evening which Im sure will be repeated next week. However, someone else will have to report on that, cos Ill be away in France....Only on a guitar workshop run by Brooks Williams...how good is that!!! Hopefully the clubll be able to soldier on without me ( ;-) ) and Ill be back the week after... Alors, mes enfants, Salut....a la prochaine!! ;-)
