Great night last night at Plastic People for Gilles Petersons Blue Note 75th Anniversary Christmas Party. We managed to pretty much play a full six hours of music from the label, but we conceded slightly and dropped a few others in the mix for the last hour. Really up for it young crowd too, but it is difficult not to feel it when you hear that music on THAT sound system. Good to see some faces down there too Mialy Rama, Rob Oxley, Jim Lister, Dayo Adewuyi, Kevin Jenkins and a few others. Thanks to Charlotte for setting everything up for us down there too.
