Great open letter to newly-unemployed Democratic politicians from a 26 year old, explaining why the expected youth vote didnt show up for the Blue party. Dems would be wise to listen. They ran a shitty campaign, never speaking to what many of us want - a resurgence of good jobs, repeal of laws allowing companies to save taxes by moving operations offshore, a common sense approach to climate change. And they never addressed what the youth want - education, job creation, the crushing nationwide student debt, inequality, underemployment, and a socio-political system in the US that is the opposite of populist.
