Great parent life club today at Maplewood high school! Today we talked about priorities and time management. Time is one of the most valuable and precious gifts we have yet we often waste it. We can spend fifty dollars on a nice watch but never give that much attention to what we are spending in those seconds, minutes and hours. Today our students looked at what they are giving most of their time to during the day… We discussed what healthy balance in a day looks like, the importance of carving out time for yourself and your growth, and the importance of teaching your Child those same healthy habits. I was impressed with some of the girls answers… taking time to take my daughter to church. Another wrote, trusting other people so I dont wear myself out. Spending less time complaining about my circumstances and do something about it.
