Great program on PBS last night about vaccines. Its been found tha5 vaccines do not by themselves cause autism or other issues hyped up by Internet chatter, there is usually a preexisting genetic condition that the vaccine triggers through the light fever produced by the vaccine. Of course this is not the only connection to vaccines but it is the real reason the media hypersensationalized the false reports of vaccines causing autism and other related problems. When people arent vaccinated in really does effect the rest of us not to mention putting the child in very real danger that coukd have been prevented. Of course rare cases vaccines do cause problems themselves but VERY VERY rare, much rarer then the media hyped up. People need to educate themselves and not get caught up in media hype. Without vaccines a significant number of children woukd die or be permanently damaged by diseases that can be prevented. It is up to the parents how their child is treated medically, but remember it is a proven unnecessary risk to your child and others. There is no scientific proof vaccines causes autism, period.
