Great report on debate Tuesday between Greenlight Pinellas spokesperson Jeff Danner and Gulfport city councilman Dan Liedtke. The end is the best: In his summary, Danner said the Greenlight Pinellas is a “great opportunity” and a “crossroads” where the community works together to reinvent the entire transit system. (is that the same as mob rule or Hillary Clintons it takes a village?) Liedtke rebutted by sharing his own plan, calling for a new CEO for PSTA, improvements to the bus system, new technology and the possibility of building a new port. Danner failed to mention the only reason PSTA wants the more than a $100 million a year tax increase is to pay for the high cost train. PSTA could improve their bus service at a fraction of that cost. Thank you Liedtke for publicly stating PSTA needs a new CEO! Brad Miller needs to go! thegabber/greenlight-debate-continues-cms-2949
