Great season for both teams. Especially considering each schools rank on the money-budget scale and what not. Ole Miss was a couple injuries away and an arkansas buzzsaw from being undefeated. State played the best team this century to 5 on the road and lost the always toss-up egg bowl, or they could be moving on. Lots of could of, should of, of course, but both programs are on the cusp of bigger things. Doesnt happen overnight. If only they both played in the ACC and got congratulated for beating shit teams on last second field goals at home. If only. Fun season for all, that still has some fun left. Both teams get to go to decent bowls and play in the national spotlight once more. Enjoy it. Its a slow climb to the top, especially in the grinder the SEC is.
