Great service with FWC this morning, Then another Great Service at Salem Church, We were so impressed today, singing a song about us being soldiers for the Lord and us having the WORD, and each time it came to that part everyone in the congregation would raise their BIBLES. 90% HAD a Bible in their hands. That may seem ho hum, until...youve visited enough churches to know they dont necessarily carry Bibles anymore, if they follow a scripture its usually on the screen in front of them so their concepts are why carry one in fact weve found several folks along our lifetime path that dont even OWN one. In this church that weve been going to, EVERYONE carries a Bible and they USE it. It was so wonderful to see all those Bibles raised. I wish I could have taken a picture of it. The Sermon was great too, I think we may have found a Keeper. In this day and age thats a difficult task!!! :) Afterward we stopped in at Costco and got a hot dog for lunch, the store was absolutely packed. Wouldnt you know another couple came a sat down where we were, I noted they prayed for their meal, very quietly, but when they were done, I chimed in with them and said amen! That opened the conversation, they were born again spirit filled, going to a small Assembly of God church, out of town. I had the opportunity to share with them about the church that we were blessed to help out with in the area we just moved from, encouraged them and they were glad we met. God placed them where we were exactly for that purpose!! Isnt God good? Amen.
