Great song with a beautiful message. This song reminds me of being a new Christian. i had great desire but no clue how to worship. Delivering equipment and traveling long distances strengthened my prayer, praise and worship life. The work truck stereo faceplate got stolen so my boss bought a cheap radio as replacement. Reception on the 5 and 15 freeways sometimes only had 1 or 2 stations, mostly country and classic rock stations. This song, the chorus of this song is what we should try to give to Almighty God, Creator of all that is seen and unmeasured. Just me, the Holy Spirit inside me and this song. Shut off the radio after the beautiful ending to this song because the presence of God was strong inside the cab of that truck. A dove flew over the hood for a few seconds then idk what happened - i passed out and went into a different realm? idk. A place without time where righteous faith in Christ is honored and lies are prohibited. When love touches our soul we should meditate on Christ. A friend asked me a question and i told him idk. He looked at me like WTF? i did know but told him he had his Bible and can look it up in. When i 1st read the New Testament, esp. after Romans, i had no clue what Paul was talking about. The leader of Campus Crusade for Christ was telling me that i shouldnt grow so fast but let what i learned sink in. i was stubborn, thought he was wrong so i read to the end in a few days - didnt understand much though. Understanding Scripture takes time but we can and should worship Christ from day 1 as we receive Him as Lord. This isnt philosophy, as some dumb dogs may tink in derr wittle Pavlonian bwain. This has nothing to do with weligion - the biggest cop out for people who choose not to understand words they say. Religion is derived from the word rut - you wanna be stuck in a rut? The word is derived from the action of doing something over and over until it gets slightly worn. You wanna be the fly bumping into glass again and again, expecting different results? Be my guest. You know what - dont be my guest if youre going to remain such a blinded fool. If the root is good then the fruit must be good. i am harsh and have only scathing comments for people who claim theyre Christians but are a cancer to todays living organic Body of Christ. Youll notice i have no issue with the lost other than they come to Christ in their private life, during time alone and ask Him in. As for the religious, the little repeater puppets who want their empty heart to remain concealed and justified... for you i only have contempt. i have more compassion for animals than for deceivers who not only practice but preach false doctrines of demons. If someone invites us to their church because the people are loving then thats great. If someone shares Christ out of love then thats awesome. If we know where a great sale is on something someone we know enjoys then we would tell them about it. Nothing wrong with sharing what we believe. If someone does not preach a spirit rebirth, turn from sin and ask Christ into your heart then have disdain for them. A deceived person doesnt realize they are a liar. Is there any examples in the Bible of a deceived person repenting and serving God? Uhhh, the apostle Paul, blinded by Christ on the road to Damascus and wrote 2/3 of the New Testament. Paul hated and signed decrees to have Christians killed... but once he met Christ all that changed. We do not judge perfect Christ by imperfect people. When you do that you thrust a spear into the side of your own soul. Dont let yourself, your pride or ignorance send your mind, emotions and free will into the pit of hell. And for the politically correct asses who say not to speak about hell. Christ spoke about hell more than 3 times any other subject so i conclude it must be important to Him, thus important to my soul. Christian means to be Christ-like. How many people in your life do you know are like Christ? Nobody will ever be completely like Christ, in fact we were all are given measures of faith according to where we fit in the Body of Christ. Friends, these are subjects you can laugh off in front of others but when youre alone i think you may slowly awake. And you should cry to God. By doing so youll refill your lamp with His love. Very important that our lamps be filled, as Scripture instructs us to do. Once your time wandering in the wilderness, when your seasons of sin are through, then join us in the abundant Christ centered life so that you may become whole in Him.
