Great story on NPR yesterday on the value of school inclusion. Too bad that school-wide, district-wide examples are still the exception instead of the norm. Reader comments show that many still consider school inclusion a feel good exercise instead of understanding the significant outcomes that students both with and without disabilities experience in high-quality inclusive settings. The BPDD community can do a lot to educate our communities on the value of inclusion.
