Great summary of Hagars book Dirty Politics. This is un-refutable evidence that National is abusing their powers of office for party and commercial gain. The last thing remaining is for National to spy on the entire NZ population using the NSA and GCSBs advanced cyber tools so that they ensure no political enemy can ever challenge them - oh wait - thats already happening too. John Key (as the minister of the GCSB and the person who can sign Intercept warrants) used the powers of the GCSB to spy on the reporter at the centre of the Teapot Tape scandal and violate her Client / Attorney privilege. So the tools and legislation that was forced through and supposed to protect us from terrorism are already being turned against the population a year later. How powerful do you think a government can get when it knows the location of every single citizen in the country by their cellphone, and can turn smartphones into remote audio / video recording bugs whenever they want? Our politicians have that power. Maybe thats how Len Brown got taken down. Interesting isnt it how John Key is happy to get the police involved in the Teapot tape recordings, and to investigate WhaleOils stolen emails, and to facilitate the home invasion of KDC, but wont let the police be used to investigate Judith Colins (of course...). Doesnt get much dirtier than this. NZers should be outraged, and MUST vote National OUT come election day.
