Great time with grand nephews Ryder and Luke. Soccer with Ryder. He represented Chelsea and soundly trashed the team I represented....Wosterchire, I think, or perhaps Liverpool, I get confused. Luke, age 2, is now big into books and reading and displayed a wonderfully creative way of counting. Things work out fine even when 14 and 16 are ignored, I discovered. Then we ended with a terrific game of pounce on Uncle Monkey, which I found much more comfortable and less risky when I realized that if I just placed a pillow in front of my groin, nothing else they happened to do to me would be all that bad.
