Great to be in Virginia MN today to discuss the Highway 53 relocation project with residents, business leaders, elected officials and the Department of Transportation. Im glad that MnDOT recommended the E-2 route over the westerly route, which could have hurt local economies and slowed emergency services. Highway 53 is a critical corridor for northeastern Minnesota, and getting it completed is one of my priorities.
