Great to read all the motivating stories from our clients in our closed group. Here is another one posted today. Identity deleted. I havent posted in a while- I apologise profusely! I thought I would update you all anyway- I do hope you are all well and kicking Anxietys butt slowly but surely everyday! I had to go to my local city for a hospital appointment 2 weeks ago- something that would have paralysed me with fear a year ago! Yet, I went and unfortunately was diagnosed with a rare and untreatable genetic condition, I should have been upset but instead I was too excited to go shopping in the city to cry or panic (but obviously happy enough to battle through swarms of people and abuse my bank balance haha!). I did not panic once, not on the train journey there or back, not walking round the city centre (bearing in mind I went alone!) On Saturday I went to a gig in aid of Cancer Research UK and for a local lad I know of who was recently diagnosed with leukaemia, again, a packed out venue, loud music and drunk people, did I panic? Nope was too busy making shapes on the dancefloor! Tomorrow I will be attending my local Colleges open evening with the intention of enrolling for next year. Vincent Benedict you are a legend! I finally feel like a 21 year old again!! Recovery is possible guys! Wake up with determination and youll got to bed with satisfaction!
