Great training video by Eric from Silat Canada using the Silat Sharaf tire workout routine. A couple of points I pointed out to Eric I wanted to share here also (with his permission) will be useful for everyone training also. 1. Tighten draw a bit on the knife. You fly too low when you draw the knife, try and keep it closer to your hip and cleaner. 2. Listen to your body. Always listen to your body and push it to the limit without injuring it. 3. When you attack a target on the ground, dont do it while standing. Lower yourself 50% atleast by putting a knee down. Firstly, because it breaks your profile if people want to throw things at you. Secondly, it gives the enemy less ability to destabilise your base. 4. Focus totally on aggression, speed and cardio in these drills. Its not a technical thing, its a brain and body trainer. 5. When you deploy a blade make sure your weapon is in front , not your emptyhand. This goes for guns as well. The weapon presents first, not an emptyhand.
