Great visit at the IDF traing base for parachuting. We met with wo.en soldiers whose job is fold the parachutes into their packs and have them ready for action. Among these young women was a 26 year old woman, who has Downs Syndrom and volunteers at the base as a parchute folder. She is an olympic medalust in the paraolympics as a swimmer, and has won 2 gold medals a silver and a bronze medal. Amazing young woman and so great to see how the IDF integrates her into the srrvice as a volunteer. We then saw 2 jump instructors demonstrate the training for parschuting and the model of the inside of a helicopter from which the paratrupers jump out while training. It was a great morning.
