Great week so far at McGees Irish Pub.....TGIF. Aside from a few minor repairs, lots of Irish Luck has come our way recently: * our pub herb garden is growing well. I think the first crop of Mint will be ready for Mojitos next week. * I think our sales meeting with the staff struck a nerve, cause specials & desserts are flying out the kitchen * We booked 3 special parties this week (one is off site at one of my favorite locales, but I cant say more cause its a surprise) * good steady regular business this week * our discount movie tickets arrived for the staff * Most of our delivery trucks have arrived on time & fully stocked * No ones called in sick with some mysterious malady & everyone has gotten to work on time * folks are steadily signing up for the next wine dinner (despite the fact that its a holiday weekend) * got the pleasure of promoting a part-time kitchen helper to F/T......AND * had a three former great employees come back to work at McGees (two part-time & one full time). Great way to start the summer! I can hardly remember a more smooth running week of business. Now Im pessimistically waiting for the McGee Curse to awaken & the shoe to drop for a net sum zero gain;)
