Great weekend! Group 4th on Friday, Group 1st on Saturday and Group 3rd today. This is the last show weekend of the year for us, and quite a year it has been. Rocky is currently # 2 Chinese Shar-pei in Canada. He has earned two group first, 4 group seconds, 7 group thirds, and 3 group fourths. All this despite stiff breed level competition from my local CSP competition who happens to be the current # 1 in Canada. Shows were limited to Manitoba except for 3 shows that were outside the province: Edmonton (NACA), Kenora, and Thunder Bay. This show will likely be the last show for Rocky for the foreseeable future. At 4 years old hes earned his couch surfing days. I could not be prouder of Rocky. Youve done all that was asked of you and so much more. Thanks to Michelle Chisholm of Siosalach Shar-pei for letting this boy come stay with us. To David Sullivan, and many others for all the handling advice. And last but not least to Lorraine Johnson for all the day to day help, from grooming to making Uncle Jims home made liver treats, and all the lugging of equipment and official photographer duties. Thanks to all the judges that have seen fit to award Rocky the awards he has gotten. And thanks to all the wonderful friends that we see at the shows that make the whole dog show thing worth doing.
