Great win to the Silver Ferns tonight. It makes an absolute difference when you have a shooter like Latu come on who is always consistently accurate with her shooting. It builds confidence throughout the whole court. I still cant understand why Waimarama didnt bring her on the in previous game. Grace Rasmussen has proven that she should have been chosen for the Commonwealth Games. Tonight she played with great skill and flair, offered well throughout the night with good flow between other players and drove well towards the circle. I remember Wai saying that Francois was chosen for Comm Games because she would combine better with Laura Langman but that simply is not the case and Grace has shown her fitness is at a much higher level than Liana Leota. I still strongly believe that New Zealand will benefit from a new coach but for now we can rest easy knowing that when the right players are selected, the team can excel.
