Great work by Delta Platoon this morning in effecting the arrest thats outlined below: On November 11, 2014 at approximately 9:51 a.m. Roanoke Police were called to the 2100 block of Southall Place SW to investigate a report of a breaking and entering into a residence. An eyewitness observed the suspect enter the residence through a window and called 911 after seeing the suspicious activity. The eyewitness watched the suspect leave the residence and relayed information about his appearance and direction of travel to emergency dispatchers, who in turn relayed that information to responding officers. Officers observed the suspect a short distance from the residence and a foot pursuit ensued. Officers set up a perimeter and located the suspect, identified as Brad Wayne Edmonds, age 29, of Vinton hiding in the 3000 block of Northview Drive SW where he was arrested without incident. Edmonds was charged with one count of felony breaking and entering. He was taken to the Roanoke City Jail.
