GreatStaff Solutions is looking for a painter for our client in Ann Arbor. The Painter applies conductive and resistive material to resistor network cards using a microscope and small paintbrushes; The Painter I also processes incoming resistor networks. The Painter I reports late orders, cause and estimated recovery date and reports to a Production Supervisor. Responsibilities: Receiving Card Inspection, Ending cards, Springing cards, Hand painting resistive ink on, Other duties as assigned Knowledge required: • Read and follow Established Methods documentation • Focus microscope, use reticule to accurately measure dimensions • Consistent application of resistive ink • Safe and correct handling of materials, use of ovens • Accurate measurement of resistor pads with ohm meter • Rework techniques to attain correct values • Adjusting resistor pads to appropriate ohm value • Count accurately, write legibly to bag and label finished cards for stocking Education Required: High School diploma or GED for Probationary/Entry Level. Physical Requirements: Requires employee to sit for extended periods of time (up to 2.5 hours); repetitive hand motions that include pinch grips, wrist, shoulders and neck tension; good manual dexterity and good vision to produce acceptable hand-eye coordination needed to perform needed functions; and the ability to lift up to 5 pounds maximum. Other Skills: Good communication, organizational abilities and listening skills. Must be able to follow verbal instructions, read specification drawings and follow established procedures, work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Dependable attendance and ability to get along with others is required. Basic PC skills to include: logging on and off, opening/closing programs, saving files, entering data into open fields, and printing. This is a temp to hire position paying $10 an hour.
