Greatly surprised by the induction to Fryeburg Fair Woodsman Day. Its comes to me with great honor to stand in front of a crowd of 10,000 people with the previous inducted competitors & holding in our hearts the memories of those that have past... Who would have ever thought that sport would have taken me the places it has and given me the great memories. After being turned down to compete my first trip to Fryeburg Woodsmen Day at the age of 12(as they said I was to young) I still remember sitting in the grandstands and "taking it all in" as my brother teamed up with George Drew for the day. The following year I aged five years and started making my sawdust fall to the track at the grand event. Now at 42 years old I stand with great pride those I watched and honed my skills around.
