Greece was probably one of the least talented teams in the WC and played, as usual, a boring match to see both live and on tv. But the heart that these guys had on the pitch was so inspiring that you no longer cared about their mediocre footwork and inability to play the game in its most beautiful form. Instead it was about their ability to stick together, play their best, and be excellent representatives of their country. This attitude was a delight to see, and to that end it is no surprise that they turned down the proposed bonus with the hopes of using that money for the betterment of the Greek national football squad.
