Greens put forward another constructive, fair and workable way to raise revenue, with Adam proposing a levy on the big four banks. Last year, the big four banks - who make higher profits thanks to the too big to fail guarantee given them by the taxpayer - made about $26 billion in profit. Levying a small proportion of this is common sense and fair - especially because it would be a way of raising revenue at the top end of town first, instead of hitting those least able to pay. A-Team.
